KASKAZINI is a Swahili word meaning "to the North". Kaskazini was launched in Pemba in 2003 in order to promote tourism in the Northern provinces, and as an inbound tour operator to provide comprehensive tourism services in Pemba and Cabo Delgado. Not only do we represent a wide range of operators, but our local knowledge is unbeatable. Whilst our core business is tailor-made holidays across Northern Mozambique for independent clients and operators, we also offer the best rates for individual hotel bookings, transfers and activities.
Our mission is to facilitate and promote sustainable tourism in the North of Mozambique, in particular the province of Cabo Delgado, but also covering Niassa and Nampula provinces.
We believe in introducing tourists to the real Mozambique, its people and culture, and are uniquely placed to sell small operators and community projects. We aim to offer all the services that any other tour operator can offer at competitive prices, but stand out for offering in addition a wealth of local knowledge, unique local experiences, and ground handling services. We operate as a responsible tour operator, putting our mission ahead of quick profits. We continue to play a vital part in shaping the development of tourism in Northern Mozambique, and seek to ensure that benefits from tourism to poor rural communities are maximised, and environmental impact is minimised.
