Libélula (the Portuguese word for dragonfly) lodge is situated overlooking the clear turquoise waters of the Bay of Nacala, at Fernão Veloso.  From rustic thatched accommodation to camping, it offers a friendly and comfortable stay for those looking for a relaxing break on the coast.  There is a swimming pool, and excellent diving and snorkelling on offer in the Bay with PADI scuba dive courses available – they have a marine reserve there with a great variety of sea creatures to identify.

Rates from:  $65 per room per night on room basis only.

Libélula is currently closed and will open again at the beginning of July 2013.

Libélula is located on the inside of Nacala Bay, 200km from Nampula and the trip takes approximately 2 hours by road.

Turn left at the air base and follow the signs to the lodge.
