Ulala Lodge, only 20 minutes south of Pemba, offers beach accommodation in rusting bungalows on the endless white sands of beautiful Murrébuè beach.

Ulala is eco-friendly, powering their lodge with a mixture of solar panels for the hot water and energy from a wind turbine on the property.  The lodge itself has been constructed using all local materials.  Known for their fantastic hospitality and super meals with a mix of French and local flair, enjoyed in a relaxed and informal atmosphere.

There are cosy double and twin chalets available, all en-suite with hot water, large mosquito nets, a safe, and all rooms have a sea view.  They also have a couple of stilt bungalows 50m from the sea with a big king size bed, built on a 2m high platform – privacy, an amazing view, and cool sea breeze guaranteed.  Activities include volleyball, badminton, blow pipe, archery and beach walks.  Visits to local village can be arranged.
